Wedding Shoot Equipment on Rent in Dehradun

A wedding is the least forgiving shoot there is: no second takes, brutal mixed lighting, and fourteen hours between the haldi and the last dance. This kit is built around that — a low-light body as the A-camera, a second body so you never miss a reaction, fast glass, and a gimbal for the entries and the couple shoot.

₹10,270/ day for the 8-item kit

What this shoot actually demands

Low light is the default, not the exception

Receptions are dim, warm and mixed. A body that stays clean at high ISO is the single most important choice in the kit — it decides whether the evening is usable.

Two cameras, always

One on the couple, one on reactions. A single-camera wedding means choosing between the varmala and the mother's face, and you can't go back and get the other one.

Moments happen once

Entries, the first look, the pheras — nothing repeats. Kit reliability and battery planning matter more here than on any other kind of shoot.

You're on your feet all day

Weight compounds over fourteen hours. A gimbal you can actually hold through a full baraat is worth more than a heavier rig with marginally better specs.

The kit

Every item links to its own page. Swap anything — this is a starting point, not a fixed bundle.

Worth adding

What people forget

Not enough batteries or cards

A wedding runs far longer than a normal shoot day. Plan power and media for the whole event, not for eight hours.

No plan for the reception's lighting

Venue lighting is usually warm, dim and mixed. Either bring light you control, or agree the plot with whoever is lighting the stage.

Audio treated as an afterthought

The vows and speeches are the emotional core of the film and the hardest thing to fix later. Mic the source.

Gimbal balanced on the day

Balancing takes real time and a wedding gives you none. Set it up with the exact lens you'll use, the night before.

Wedding film kit — FAQs

What camera is best for shooting a wedding in Dehradun?

For most wedding work the deciding factor is low-light performance, because receptions are dim and you can't add much light without changing the event. The Sony FX3 and a7S III are both built for that. If you also need high-resolution stills, a hybrid body like the a7 IV covers both.

Do I need two cameras for a wedding?

In practice, yes. A second body is the difference between capturing the couple and capturing the reaction — and at a wedding both matter, happening at the same moment. It's the first thing we'd add to any wedding kit.

Can I rent the kit for multiple days — haldi, mehendi and the wedding?

Yes, and multi-day is the norm for wedding work. Multi-day rates are better than a day rate multiplied — tell us the schedule and we'll quote the whole run.

Do you also shoot weddings, or only rent the gear?

Both. We hire the kit out, and we also shoot — if you'd rather hand the whole film over, see our video production service.
